As fall takes hold in the Northeast USA, I am inspired to start a new edition of this ongoing thread. Please post images that you love primarily because of their color. I will get things started with my first fall foliage shot. But, there is no seasonal requirement. Australian spring, Antarctic blue icebergs, tropical flowers, spilled cinnamon, whatever. This thread is for members in any part of the world. Because the sole criterion is the member's own love for the image, this is more a place for celebration than criticism. Newcomers are encouraged to participate. Posting an image in an ongoing thread may be easier than starting your own. Commentary and any extra camera/lens info is fine but optional. This thread is open to all cameras.

I especially like this one. You might not know that you can post multiple pics in one post. This can help make the thread include more different posters. No problem, though, and no need to reply. Thanks for joining in.

Almost forgot about this one from this summer...

This image breaks the key rule behind this thread: share an image because of its color. Well, I took other colorful shots at this skating competition but this one is of my daughter. Shot in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the Ice Cube. The lighting was disappointingly awful and the grain did a job on much of the detail in my pictures. But, I found the colors came through very nicely and there was a lot of color with all the different costumes during the Dr. Porter Synchronized Classic.

My daughter finishing official practice the night before the skate:

Another young woman doing a spin:

And, my daughter here during the official skate doing a combo move with her partner. Her partner is doing a 135 for the angle she is supposed to make with her legs:

This is typically not a place for critique. The problem is, if I say something, someone else might want to add something and someone else, and then the entire thread is derailed into a conversation about your image. Better to post it the DX Forum, itself, and let everyone get a good look at it. By c & c section, do you mean Retouching? I would suggest going to your library and just find an image that you like because of its color and posting it here. An image you have a good feeling about. That is what this thread is for: celebration.
