As fall takes hold in the Northeast USA, I am inspired to start a new edition of this ongoing thread. Please post images that you love primarily because of their color. I will get things started with my first fall foliage shot. But, there is no seasonal requirement. Australian spring, Antarctic blue icebergs, tropical flowers, spilled cinnamon, whatever. This thread is for members in any part of the world. Because the sole criterion is the member's own love for the image, this is more a place for celebration than criticism. Newcomers are encouraged to participate. Posting an image in an ongoing thread may be easier than starting your own. Commentary and any extra camera/lens info is fine but optional. This thread is open to all cameras.

The less than desirable pose of the duck in flight did not bother my enjoyment of the colorful scene (entirely). So, I thought of this thread as it is the color I most appreciate here. Anyone can post an image that one most enjoys because of its color.

The creature looks every bit as scary as you describe!

Good detail in the photo.

Red usually has an impact regardless of how much of it is in the frame. Yet, I may have crossed the line with the first shot, a picture of a ladybug with enough green to just about make the insect disappear. The red in the second pic is a little easier to notice.

I sometimes read about how Nikon cameras do so such a poor job reproducing reds. I have no complaints.
