Yes, looking at the ISO 1600 images I am surprised by the lack of apparent noise in the images, and ISO 3200 is VERY good looking for that speed!and the ISO 3200 looks eminently usable... I like, I like![]()

Looks good, but the 1600 images certainly contain more noise than 400 on the rebel/10D.and the ISO 3200 looks eminently usable... I like, I like![]()
I like it too, "especially" when you consider it's an 8MP sensor.and the ISO 3200 looks eminently usable... I like, I like![]()

For the sports photographer that may be shooting indoors or with
slow glass, this may be a great camera for the job!

--Nice overall considering it's an 8mp image on a similar sized
sensor as my 10D.

about 2 years of painful P & S use.
- this camera definately looks like everything I have hoped for for
The images are fantastic, and that's what really matters to me![]()

--Yes I know it's not the
camera but the photographer but I would much rather shot with a 20D
than my mom's canon ELF.

That's what I read also.Canon are claiming that the 20D is as good at 1600 as the 10D is at
400. (unless I am mis-quoting them)
Maybe the prduction model will live up to the 2 stop quote. (lower noise)So far that doesnt appear to be the case, although I am still
mightily impressed with the higher ISO images. (thats when I have
been able to download a few)

--Phil's gallery is awesome. The pics look about as good as a 1DMk II.
With this new camera I'm going to RULE! Yes I know it's not the
