I like this. Very nice.
Used a Panning Technique for it

I attended a DeKalb County, Georgia Track and Field event and had a great time seeing the kids represent their districts.

Very pleasant photo, I viewed the original, lots happening on a beautiful day.

I think the ones along the dock are real wood, they have metal trim, what do you think of the one you shot, the trim on the curved windshield doesn't look like wood.?

Crazy old man! Slow down. You are way too old to be
hunting hemi's in that 66GTO.
Nice, captures the anticipation and you can imagine the intention of the blue #1. Lot of Porsche's, what speeds do you use for various scenarios when you shoot races?

Thanks, It was at a classic wooden boat show, but I think that the windshield trim may have been steam bent wood that had been stained, maybe to cover that it had a different grain or was a different type of wood more suitable for bending.

For racing it depends on the lens that I use and the approximate speed traveled, along with the prevailing light. This was the parade lap.

My 3 entries, then some extra exhibits...

This was my first attempts using the tracking autofocus. I don't think it came out too badly, and am excited to use it in more situations (but please excuse my obvious sensor dust)!

Yoenis fouling off a tough pitch last summer, on one of our regular Red Sox pilgrimages (this time to NY for a Mets series). In the hot afternoon sun, after keeping hydrated with numerous beverages, not too many of these attempts were as clear, well timed, or decently framed as this one. Now I just have to get rid of that cable!

During one of my later nights at work, I snapped some longer shutter speeds of traffic from the window (hence the glare)

Although fairly noisy compared to all of you with 4-figure RX10iii's and APSC DSLR's, I was super impressed with my small sensor HX90v not only for being about 40' away at the time (see wide pic below), but also for stowing my equipment easily within my shirt breast pocket when done! I'm really loving this camera!

Very nice, you have the right speeds for those action shots, and it is impressive the distance you got the humming moth.

Thanks for showing these AL, looks like 1/800th is about right for splashed water.

Absolutely superb. Entries or Exhibits?

Elliott, I would take my new Sony RX10M3. As much as I love my Nikon D300 and even considered buying the recently released Nikon D500, I just don't have the desire to take heavy gear anymore. I would also take the RX100M3.

The RX10M3 is not light but to me it is very manageable. I have 3 pound weights at home and don't have a problem with them. The new Sony is less.

On Wednesday, I'm going over to Marina del Rey (Los Angeles) which is near me and take some shots, I think it will be fun.

Congratulations on hosting the challenge and hope you are enjoying it.

Thank you for your comments about my entries. It's still fun to enter.

Mina :-)

Thank you Trafford. Your comments mean a lot.

All are fantastic.

These were taken at the Iguazu waterfalls in Brazil. The exif data will show the setting, but they were taking using an ND1000 filter, on a tripod with a wired remote shutter. It was difficult to get the photos right because the catwalks experience a lot of foot traffic, causing the whole platform to shake. Then, you battle with the spray of the falls so here, timing is everything.
