You are clearly a very accomplished image taker and although I did grow a little tired of you 'moaning' about Panasonic (I can unfortunately not afford the OM-D, only a G3) I do take note of your often helpful comments and will no doubt in future rely on some of those in my new journey of digital photography as opposed to film. Thanks.

These are very beautiful pics indeed.

I usually have NO interest whatsoever for shots without living brings in them.
But this set is just GORGEOUS.
Beautifully done, keep them coming !

Some really nice pics - the only thing missing (for me) is the lack of a wider lens being used, most of them are crying out for a wider angle view (or maybe even just a crop to 16:9) - note this is my subjective opinion, before anyone jumps on it!

Nice set, of a quality seldomly seen in this section of the forum.

Just wondering: were these shot with M43?

Interesting ways to convey the drama of sea's edge.

I think the first and last are the most profound, with a lot to like in between.

On that shot you double posted - I'm just a little distracted with some shadow along the breaker line. At first I thought it might be your shadow, but then I think it's a bit of a hand to brushing in a burn. ???

Are these all with the GH2?

Don't apologise for showing them again - I never tire of seeing them! What sort of shutter speed and ND filter were you using on the last?

Louis,

Last is my fave, I aspire to that quality, awesome!

The galleon's are good too, just as if they are ready to float out to sea.

Cool images. ;-)

Very nice, Louis. I'm going to have to dig out my ND filters when the weather warms up a little.

Bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur in out-of-focus areas of an image, or the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light. Bokeh is not the same as depth of field (DOF).

simply stunning.

And educational too!

Not a fan of 1 or 3/7 but the rest are very nice, especially the last.

Beautiful set. Every time I see your images it makes me want to go to the beach and capture.

Thank you - I felt the same about your toddler set, I'm not very child friendly, but they were so good I actually found myself warming to the subjects :-)

Toddler today wanted to make friends with our newest puppy (who was being taken to a busy, deafening carnival very young so that he grows up confident around crowds and noises). His mum showed him the pup was harmless, even though he still puts limbs in his mouth and chews them, but the kid wanted the dog to sit still and be passively petted, which of course a nine week old pup does not do, and in the end kicked the dog out of sheer frustration! Fortunately the dog failed to detect hostile intent :-)
