That ship long sailed for me!
I haven't made a Scamazon purchase in some 15 years or so, since one of their "Associates" ripped me off and Scamazon refused to make good on the return, until the guilty party notified them of receipt. So I was out both the purchase price and the cost of returning it. (Scamazon would not accept my receipt and tracking number as proof of return!)
Luckily, I was only out a few hundred, but fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!

I pay an annual fee to sell items there, and although I never thought about it, that might also cover posting images in the talk forums.
I need to check this.

I really don't think they would do anything that would contravene such a big market Data Protection rules are here to stay.
and probably countless others.
Chris, I might be wrong when it comes to posting images. The charge for posting images in the for sale forum might also be applicable to the talk forums.Really ??? Well I have no idea, thank you

I have been dealing with Amazon as long as I have been a member here on DPR (16+yrs)- I have had a few issues with Amazon purchases, but, I have never lost money.. Always found them to be honest and dependable. Recently bought an electric blanket, one of the controls was faulty, manufacturers wanted a full report and photos! I called Amazon - within 24 hours I had a new blanket and told not to bother returning the faulty unit.. K&$P happens. I wish you well. Regards. L

18 years and read it every day. Have gotten so much good advice from the staff and members of DP Review. This is so sad...hope we can find or build another site as good as this one. Best to all the staff and members and hope we all come together again on another site.
