*** Your R System Images - August ***

It is my usual breakfast. The toast is done exactly to my taste. I am a cold toast person, as I don't like the butter to melt.

The person who invented marmalade is a total genius.

Do you ship to the UK!

Your coffee has a nice crema!
I got a big smile from this! My wife and I watch a lot of Brit shows. She made the comment years ago about Brit cold toast. Now I have an explanation. I don't agree with it because I'm a melted butter guy, but it now makes sense.

The things you learn on a camera gear forum! :-)

I like salted butter to melt but I like unsalted butter to not melt.

i have see you post these wonderful images in another thread, they are just lovely. what really is striking to me, is the little red boats, they just pop and bring excitement to me, viewing these shots. thanks for sharing.

Not all Brits. I had a cousin who also liked cold toast and he insisted that his children and grand children also had cold toast. The resentment came out during his funeral eulogy. My wife hates cold toast

I love this sort of discussion. It seems so trivial on the surface, but so many simple traditions run deep. Imagine the cold toast tradition brought up within a eulogy!

Human nature can be a wonderful thing, but it also can drag out the worst in people.

To me he was a really easy going kind of fellow, very popular and entertaining. I never knew knew he was a bit of a control freak. I have to say that the eulogy was done very amusingly and lovingly by his grandson, but there was this 'frisson'

I hate over-toasted toast, hot, warm or cold.
