I too own the Xe2 and have the same experience, the XE2 is definitely better than the XT100 with firmware 2.0 but some people hear can’t just phantom the possibility, I personally think mine was defective do to the focus being slightly off with all 3 of my XF lenses, I could replicate the issue over and over.

I find my X-T100 to have slightly faster AF than my X-E2. I think it's safe to say our experiences average out the AF being essentially the same. Which is fine with me since I had no issues with my X-E2 AF.
Anyone else seen the horrible oversharpening artifacts that appear at DR400 when shooting into bright light, like tree branches with the sun behind or strong light sources like a lamp indoors? It really destroys the jpeg and just makes it impossible to use DR400 as the standard setting... I bought the fujifilm camera to be able to use the DR400 exclusively, but now I cant.. I feel like a fool.. :'(

Next thing to try would be ISO Bracketing I think. You take one exposure, and the camera makes three JPGs at different ISOs. Then you can pick which one looks the best, for use later.
Well, after a few months of use I can honestly say that it is the worst camera I have ever owned.
TAKES 2.5-4 SECONDS TO START! What's up with that?! Doesnt matter if I format the card in camera.. It does start in about half the time when using fully manual lenses with a dumb adapter, but shouldn't it be the opposite?
The camera freezes sometimes, only way to fix it is to remove the battery - WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!
I came from a long line of Nikon beginner dslrs and at least thought in my foolishness that the Fujifilm would "JUST WORK" like cheap Nikon DSLRs, but I was wrong.
