What's a "UZI" ?

Thanks all for the replies. Wasn't trying to rile anyone, but I have a D510 and have waited for days for a reply and watch my post fold back to the 3-4-5-6th page (with one post and no answer). I realize there are more UZ'ers here and that's readily apparent. Just giving an outside view from one person, and perhaps many more that need help. Really do appreciate the help that IS provided, though.
Frankly speaking, if you don't own one and have a Olympus camera
question...you might have to find somewhere else to get it
answered. Not trying to be mean or over-critical, but that's human
nature I guess...if it doesn't perk their interest (which the UZ's
do) hard to get answers. Just my $.02
The fact is that there are simply more 2100 owners here and
apparently more active in the forum. However, like most 2100 users,
I own another model Olympus camera (C3040Z) as well as having
previously owned other models (D340R, D400Z, and C2020Z) and will
answer any question I can.

Not a problem, and didn't take it that way.

Hi Jim,
I hope that it was not my reply that you thought was a flame...

Surely was not my intention at all.

I was just trying to point out that non Uzi questions do get
answered, and who better to answer the question than by someone who
has that particular camera model?

I also made a suggestion that a FAQ of sorts me made so maybe
newcomers could be pointed to this thread by Uzi owners if there
question is going unanswered...

I mentioned this once before and others thought it was a good idea
but no one worked on it...

Jim, I assure you I'm not one to start a flame thing here as others
will attest. I enjoy this forum and help whenever I can if I can be
of assistance regardless of which camera...

I come in peace... (geeez...I didn't even have my coffee yet)
Maybe I shouldn't post till I have my first cup?

Jim, what was your question about the D510? Maybe we can find something out for you...

I don't want to sound too stupid here but I've seen many, many
references to UZI's on this forum and I'm new to this digital stuff
and this website. Can/would anyone out there explain a "UZI" to
me. Thanks in advance.
I guess it's how americans pronounce "UZ", as in C-2100UZ.
Here in the UK, we'd pronounce it "U-ZED".

Hi Bully Blizzard Buffalo Barn Bob.

I don't think Jim Kelly was addressing you. Rather, I think he thought the post you answered to was an attempt to flame. Anyway, that's just how I read it.

Actually it's a machine gun type Pistol that terroists use. Most of the UZI users on here are terroists... :o)

Maxven, add another "B" to the list...what's that like BBBBBBBB?

P.S. I just had my first cup of coffee so now I'm really ready to rumble...

(Maybe I should use the bathroom first...)
