At long last, after reaching the deepest pits of hell, I finally have it posted. It's not what I had originally envisioned, but those files are long gone. My computer fought me tooth and nail. I lost a lot of images and data at the end, but I am a better man for it. I hope you enjoy this. I am posting it in my PBase Gallery because it is the easiest. I still have a lot of work to get caught up on, but the important stuff is gone and I decided to devote today to getting this tutorial posted as I promised. I am very sorry it took so long, and I really appreciate your patience. Some of you who have e-mailed me to console me during my trials know what it’s like. Anyway, without further ado, here it is.

I for one really appreciate all the time you put into this. Sure wish there was a way to make your computer woes go away, perhaps all of us have experienced those at some time, i know i have. If there is any way to repay you for all the time spent on this just let me know because i really, realy appreciate it. You are right up there on the top of really good guys !

Steve, thank you so much. So glad you are getting back on track. I've been there, I have great sympathy.

I have one problem (using PSP8), I can't get the brushes.

PSP does not recognize the file ending. I posted the file ending question on the Jasc forum and found that there is no way to use or change the brushes. I think, that if they were a file ending that PSP recognized, I would be able to Import them and change the file ending. I have no idea what the answer to this is....other than fake it with a PSP brush.

The brushes in Impressionist are TIF, no problem.
I can get the textures as PSP recognizes PSD.

same here............I was thinking it was just me ...............

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections

On page 26 of the tutorial you state that the preset for the setting for Bright strokes impressionist filter will be available at the end of the tut, but I can't find it. Thanks!!!

Steve, thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial. You made a lot of people happy today. This format is very easy to read online & I also printed it to keep. However, I find it easier to save the file for reference as a PDF.

I am amazed at the amount of work you put into this to make it easy to understand & look so nice.

Thank you again for your tremendous effort in spite of your computer problems.

Bonnie
Please let me know what you think of this format that I used for
this tutorial.

Steve, thank you so much! I know you've been having troubles with your computer, what a shame to lose any of your pictures. I hope you can get everything restored eventually, good luck with the job.

I love this format, it's so easy to follow. I use a program called FlipAlbum, I made a digital book of the tutorial, very easy to use.

Once again, thank you. Your hard work is very much appreciated.

Patricia
