S9500 mysterious firmware upgrade

Unless you are going to be using 6 GB microdrives, why are you even worried about the firmware update? That's the only thing that was addressed. But then maybe you are someone who has have something just because it's available.

I looked at the index and the 9500 is not listed for an upgrade of
the firmware, but your link shows the upgrade for the 9500. Where
did you find it?

Thanks for the info.

I hope Fuji release the 103 if it is available. (as somebody say it is on their cameras)
or maybe 104 with some improvements if needed.

Can you please take the photos which showing the firmware version and then post here the picture ?

maybe somebody will ask Fuji, but we better to prepare the proof of the 1.03 is exist.

I too am intrigued by this as the slow (and all too often inaccurate) focussing in low light is becoming a real problem. I am not sure if it is real or not but it seems to be a lot slower and less accurate than it used to be (cam is 2 years old now). Am currently resisting the lure of a speedy upgrade (tried a 40D and it is lightning fast) but unless something can be done I will relent.
