Program Modes

and for the same reasons (but I use P mode a bit more often, I think).
I use it from time to time, don't let anyone tell you its useless. A lot of times I'll walk around at dusk with my E-30 and Sigma 30mm lens and set the camera to P mode & ISO 400, leaving me to worry only about composing and shooting.

However, I do not use Ps, if I have to do that, I'd rather switch to A mode.

I don't give a damn.

Whatever gets me the pictures I have in my mind's eye.

I use the flashes alot, (On camera with bracket or set up in studio) so I will maily go full manual. Both on the flashes and on the camera. TTL can go +or - too much... You know what you you get when you're in manual on a flash. You set your WB at 6000k+- and shutter speed at 1/250th. I'll go up to 1/320 with out a problem and then adjust my app from there.

When I do event photography, I'll use both SP or AP modes, depending if I'm shooting inside or out. And if you know how to your a flashes right, it can almost always look like natual lighting.

If you want to learn more about the other modes, checkout the "photo workshop" series of books by Wiley Press. Look at the Exposure book in the series where the author explains how while the P modes are fine, here is why you want to learn the other modes.
I have it and it's a great book, worthy of a link. The whole photo workshop series looks interesting.

I will probably get flamed for this, but I will use the Scene Modes or the P mode in a pinch...
Confession is good for the soul... ;)

I sometimes use P mode for event photography. When I loaned my E-620 to my sister, she used the scene modes and got some very good shots.

P is Not a scene mode it's a semi-auto mode like AP and SS only you get chosse your SS AND your F-Stop combo.
