Windows 11 PC - edit with Topaz Photo AI as a stand-alone, and ON1 Photo Raw 2025.

FastStone Image Viewer 8.0 current version to view and sort thru images.

Screen shot shows the irritating problem - please see the images in this folder show the original image, i.e. A8A3036 a squirrel - then the same image after Topaz Photo AI, with a file extension raw denoise, sharpen, etc. Then you have various images with different file names displaying the FastStone Image Viewer logo. If you click on any logo while viewing the folder in the Windows file, in this case the file is on my desktop - the photo is of the first image the squirrel.

If I view the photos directly in FastStone the photos are displayed correctly with no offending FastStone logo and all images show the proper file extension.

Seems like there must be a setting I can adjust to have the photos viewed without the FastStone logo that when I click on it shows a photo not associated with the correct file name.

Thanks in advance - one of those irritants that I've just glossed over for far too long.

I hope I have explained properly - it's confusing.

I probably can't answer you question, but the first thing I'd want to do is show the actual file extension eg tif, jpg etc so you can see what type of files you're dealing with. This might help inform why some thumbnails don't display properly, and hence all you see is the logo.

Good luck.

I have had the same problem with occasional cropped photos but when I click on them they display just fine.

yep, I remember too that I had this problem. unfortunately, I don't remember how I solved it. I think it had to do with the file name or its extension. I am sorry I can't more of help.
