Offensive language!!

Not if you wish to continue posting here. For what it's worth, the
language filter is well established and exists purely because we
feel people should be able to discuss photography without the need
to dish out or receive insults. Is that so hard to grasp?

If this were a gambling forum then we would most probably allow
cr@p but it's not so we don't.

Gordon, not to hard to grasp. Were were you raised? The world and its institutions aren't that friendly; photography documents (all) this just fine. So don't put a sock in our mouth. If you find "cr@p" too offensive consider a career switch. Say the Vartican

LOL!!!!!!! How Dare You Bill!!! That is the wosrt language I've
heard on this thread !! you should be punished!!
The devil made me do it. Sorry.

...discussing politics and religion with strangers was also
considered ill-mannered. It's amazing how many of those who want us
to restrict our vocabulary also want to force their obnoxious
religiou and political views on us.
Just for your info, I live in the state of Georgia where religion is taught in some of our public schools. In my opinion, this places religion in the same category as any other subject. It may now be criticized and required to answer the hard questions.

"CrATP, is a nucleotide analog that is known to inhibit the
sarcoplasmic reticulum". Google IS your friend... ;)
That is some big words for such a small word. You can also use crud in its place. That word is less offensive to people. People shouldn't be so uptight or a stupid word!!!

Why do you have to 'put your two cents in'.. but it's only a 'penny for your thoughts'? Where's that extra penny going to?

I absolutely agree. I don't understand people who are offended so easily, but i guess thats why people like Howard Stern and Lewis Black have jobs, to pis...err tick people off.

How about expanding the vocabulary instead of using the same stale
words over and over again?
Because it's much more satisfying just to say, "phuque!" when we read absurd posts like this. I just shake my head in disbelief when I see claims that people who swear have poverty-stricken vocabularies. I've had a very large vocabulary all my life, and swore like a trooper from the age of 14 to the age of 50. There is utterly no correlation between the size of person's vocabulary and how much they swear.
