You welcome.
About the comparison GXR S10 and GRD III, my simple statement is this one :
For those who want to get involved with the GXR system (opportunity to have prime lenses with larger sensor), the S10 is really valuable because it can offer you a more pocketable solution, another photographic approach, than prime lense with large sensor and offers a really good IQ (maybe the best I have seen so far compared with other small sensor cameras appart from the GRDIII which I didn't test). Well for me the GXR allows me to have two camera in one system keeping exactly the same body and the same ease of use, making the idea of buying a GRDIII aside totally pointless.
For those who don't want to get invovled with the GXR system (meaning they are not interested with the use of large sensor prime lenses on a compact camera) the GRD III is the solution and you keep the Ricoh's ease of use and build quality, a trully pocketable camera and probably a really good IQ.
Some people, may say that the advantage of the GXR with S10 is to have a stabilized zoom lens (which you can set with step : 24/28/35/50/72mm equ. or continuous from 24 to 72mm) which the GRDIII of course doesn'have... But let's face it, the GXR with only S10 module cost around 700/800 euros (depending on resellers) which is IMHO expensive, compared with other competitors. Of course if you can afford it, I would say go for it.
