***Mini Challenge #254: Distorted Perspective***

Nice entries! The first has that abstract quality that makes me scratch my head at first look and wonder what it is. #2 is nice distortion in the building revlections. #3 is just plain beautiful and the brilliant sky reflection and cloud image is a great inversion of what the eye expects.

Lets get some new submissions! Nothing to lose and a good opportunity to strut your stuff. Its all in good fun, so even if you don't think you have "the winner", let us see your interpretation of "distorted perspective".

Okay, I withdraw my shot of Hammy The Cat wearing glasses (unless it's the winner :-)), and substitute this one.

I'm breaking my promise to wait for wiwi to come back home and post her Cornwall shots but I think she'll forgive me ;)

This was shot in Looe and seems to fit the challenge. It's nearly 900 secs (15 mintutes) exposure of a waving sea. With the naked eye you couldn't see the rocks under the waters' surface but using a CP and a 10 stop ND filter with a long shutter time lets you have a peak what's under the surface:

I'll give this a shot, just for the heck of it. This was taken with my 450D and 18-55mm kit lens, in remote tethered mode.

I am appreciating previous moderators' comments about how difficult it is to judge the winners. There are some beautiful and fascinating new entries. I feel like if I comment on any one shot I have to comment on them all, so I'll just hold on for the grand finale.

One more day, give it your best shot (pun intended!).
