Under the ISO speed settings on my 80D, there is a setting called "Min. Shutter Speed". I am not sure if I am understanding it's use, but I was hoping it would limit the lowest shutter speed when in aperture priority mode. It doesn't seem to work like that though.
Can anyone offer some help on this?
See page 153 in the manual. There can be a slower shutter speed than what's set to get a 'standard exposure.'
Thanks.
Yeah. That's what I found, it ignores the setting when I try to use it.
As I read it, it says you are setting a minimum speed, then turns right around and says it will set a slower shutter speed anyway, if it cannot obtain a correct exposure, making the setting useless. I'd rather an underexposed picture than one with motion blurring.
