I think Iridient sharpens with a pretty heavy hand by default. The files look "crunchy" to me. I turn off Iridient's sharpening and sharpen in LR. That way I can adjust while processing too. If you let X-transformer sharpen it's locked in. I also find LR's noise reduction is better too, so i turn off Iridient's. Just use for the demosaic-ing.
