Hello guys,

so I know how emotional and dynamics disscusion can get when it comes to different raw converters and editing software.

I don't want to fuel that up.

My question is simple yet I couldn't find clear answer.

Can I apply fujifilm film simulations in Adobe Lightroom (iPad version if that's matter) to the .DNGs created by Iridient X-transformer?

Cheers

Thomas

yes

That's great to hear, thank you,

Hello,

did anybody has tested this with the .RAF-files from a X-E4? And which settings in the Iridient X Transformer have to be made to ensure, that Lightroom offers the options to change the color processing? At the moment I only get the "embedded" profile.

(I am using the old Lightroom 6)

Thx

You have to change output model of X-E4 file to X-T20 , because LR 6.14 does not know the X-E4.

In DGN options set

Overwrite make: Fujifilm

Overwrite model: X-T20

Yes, well, probably. You certainly can in Lightroom Classic. Iridient DNGs behave just like RAFs. You can also have all your current Lightroom development settings for the RAF automatically applied to the new DNG when created as well.

If you use Capture One you can’t apply the Fuji film sims to any DNGs.

This worked for me with the Iridient X Transformer.

I wonder if it is possible to also set the Make and Model for a tiff-File that came out of Negative Lab Pro, so that ein could apply Fujifilm Simulations to my scanned negatives.

I tried to use Lenstagger to set Make and Model for the dng's and tiff's after negative lab pro conversion, but this didnt open up the color process options like what happend with the X Transformer.

Does anybody here have some insights on that?

Thx in advance.

Very unlikely - the film simulation is going to be applied during raw conversion

Try ww.exiftool.org and this command:

exiftool.exe -overwrite_original_in_place -P -Make=Fujifilm -Model="X-T20" *.tiff
