Gravity deifying ladybug

Thanks for looking at the pics, The yellow in the background is a plastic bottle of citrus smelling bleach. and the red and orange color is from a fast food delivery menu. :)

took the ladybird inside on a piece of moss, and just used house hold items for the background colors. as for how the ladybug is performing his/her circus act I dont know lol.
How'd you do it? What's giving the lovely colors in the background?

Thank you Phil, I am not sure what that is in shot 5 :) it was already there when I placed the "hover bug" on the moss.
thanks again for looking and for commenting. :)
Excellent!

More a Hover Bug.

Ahem....... did the bug have a 'dump' in shot 5?

I wondered why the ball kept getting bigger, then it hit me.

Beautiful photos. I like your clever ideas on how to get great background colors.

I'm guessing this was the work of static electricity.

Thank you for the kind comment. I use anything colorful lying around the home. as the DOF is so small it dont really matter what is used as long as its OOF.

I am really not sure, the lady bug was walking around the moss and every time I went in close for the picture it pulled its legs under and looked like it was hovering, I think its face and very back end was on top of the moss. but did look strange.

Thanks for taking a peek. :)

When you get down to the nuts and bolts of photography, the results depend on the 'nut' behind the camera!

See the 'Gear List' in my 'Profile' for my current equipment.

It's really to bad that the 60D is such an amateur piece of junk, and that you can't take nice pictures with it...

Otherwise, these would be spectacular images!

Too bad really...

;)

Thanks Yogi for looking and commenting. and no problem for the techniques.
