The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM is a relatively affordable 'L'-grade telephoto lens, designed for use on Canon's full-frame and APS-C DSLRs. It offers a ring-type ultrasonic autofocus motor, weatherproof construction, 4-stop Image Stabilization and a minimum focus distance of 1.2m. Additional features include an 8-bladed circular aperture, full-time manual focus override, and an optional tripod collar.
