LensRentals has informed me that they don't yet have the GFX 100 RF, and don't know when it will arrive. They've put me at the top of the list for when it does come in.

So, unfortunately, I won't be able to test the camera when I said I would, and I can provide no firm timeframe for when I will be able to do the testing.

Sorry. Stay tooned.

I see the black GFX100RF a poster here alerted everybody they canceled their order for (on the thread that locked) is still in stock and available at Camera Exchange in Texas. Perhaps Lens Rentals would take it off their hands in the interests of science.

Hmmm, Whoa. It was in stock priced at $4999 there when that thread discussion took place, and was still in stock at $4999 this morning. Checking now, though, the listing has become "Used Like New," with a price tag of $5199. I guess everybody's riding that Fuji-profiteering gravy train these days. But even so, Lens Rental might feel no premium is too great for science and the advancement of knowledge, and make a noble sacrifice in the name of exploration and inquiry.
