Getting an X-T3 today, what is my best option for dealing with RAW files?

New to the Fuji ecosystem and I am getting my X-T3 today. I have Lightproof Classic CC but have read it's not updated yet to deal with Fuji RAW files. Looks like for the time being I have to convert them? What is my best and most efficient/quickest option that doesn't cost money?

One by one, software will be updated for the XT3. Only then will we learn which ones stand out as the best, but I’d expect Iridient, Capture One and RawTherapee will be excellent based on their current ability with XTrans.

I’ve just used iridient to create a dng. Opened in lightroom and then edited it from lightroom in niks and photoshop. Worked fine. Also I am on old standalone versions of lightroom and ps that never even supported the xt2 rafs so I have always done it this way. I don’t want to pay subscriptions

Yes the new Raw File Converter 3.0 does a good job and is easy to use. Not convinced the perspective correction tools are that good but you can always export the image as a tif into LR and finish off in there but make sure LR Sharpening is zeroed.

I second the Raw File Converter 3.0 vote. I really like all the color profiles (including Fuji's) available in that program, which gives me a lot of options for color rendering.

For 3.0 I'm also starting to warm up to the new HDR / color dodge-burn tools available, as it's another tool in the toolbox for rendering. They have also added a "clarity" in the exposure tools which may help sometimes.
