The iPhone 11 and 11 Pro share similar specs across their main 26mm equiv. wide-angle cameras, but differ in one important way: the 11 Pro offers a total of three rear-facing cameras while the 11 offers two. The Pro model's three cameras include that standard wide angle, a 13mm equiv. ultra-wide and 52mm equiv. telephoto. The 11 Pro offers a 5.8" OLED display, along with improved weather-resistance and battery life compared to the XS.
Other camera improvements include a new Night Mode – similar to Google's Night Sight – which uses data from multiple frames to create a composite image with better detail in low light situations. The front-facing camera has been updated to a 12MP sensor capable of 4K video and 1080p slow-motion selfie clips. Smart HDR has been improved to render humans and pets more intelligently, and Portrait Mode is now offered with both the telephoto and the standard-wide lens.
