For those with a FF and m4/3 system,

What do you use your m4/3 system for and what do you use your FF system for?

I am sorry you don't like the EM1X but the G9 II, with dual gain amplifiers off the sensor at all ISOs, producing 16 bit raw files when combined, should significantly reduce shadow noise compared to MFT cameras that don't do that (like the EM1X).

So please don't give up on the G9 II based on your experience with the EM1X.
