Factory Reset

Without any warning, the screen on my J5 has started to flash on and off very quickly.

I can just about see the wording in the menus when they flash on and off but cannot find how to perform a factory reset in the hope that that will solve the problem, unless someone has another solution ?

Don't think there is any way of doing a factory reset. All you can try to do is reset the shooting menu - and any other menus that allow a reset to default.

Some issues arose with the PASM dial. Weird things started to happen. Some have managed to clear by gently working the PASM dial through its settings back and forward.

Other things to try:

- put in a fully charged battery and maybe leave it for 24 hrs before switching it on

- change the lens or see what you get without a lens attached
