Just enter "Canon 2600 banding" into the search engine of your choice. Then see if you recognize the kind of excuses that have been put forth for 1100 banding.

I did. Even used Google - which I normally do not use as a search engine. And it only came up with the one I mentioned in my previous reply. All the other finds - when clicking on the link - were either related to the Pro-1100 or to the manual for the x600 line of printers.

So I did not find any. Hence my question to your source.
