CTF Mini Challenge #133 - * Tractors *

The Komatsu 575 is the largest production dozer ever made. These shots were taken with a cheap Kodak before I was in to photography, and depict myself standing on and in front of it to illustrate it's massive size. No PP was done.

Over 1,100 horsepower it CAN move dirt. When standing next to it while it's running at idle you can feel the ground shake. It's a kick to operate.

This blade can push over 90 yards at one time...

The Super ripper tooth can gouge-out solid rock and caliche.

To move this dozer from one job to the next it needs to be dis-assembled and takes almost a week to do so.

Again back before I was in to photography I shot a few photos of the restoration I was doing on my 52 Ford 8N in my humble shop. When I got it - it was a bucked of rust. No PP was done on these shot with my cheap Kodak.

Not quite finished but looking better...

Due to popularity of tractors and this seems like a very hard topic for many, I have decided to shorten the agony of this mini. :)

(now don't protest - it was on mind for a few days.....)
and thanks for bearing with me as some topics I wished to choose had been taken.

Beautiful JD (though looks like it once had red wheels instead of the yellow) among the Spring flowers and flag.

Wonder if you are substituting this fourth picture for one of your previous entries?
Only three can be in per person. Let me know. Thank you.

A good find of a retired tractor.
Good edgy feel.
(I have been to many used tractor places but this one beats them all.)

You can cancel the photo of the rear view of the tractor (steering wheel),
thanks

Buying a Canon doesn't make you a photographer. It makes you a Canon owner. Author Unknown

Nice macro on the collection of JD toys.
(and a Ford in too)
