If this helps what seems to be some confusion, the definition is from Wikipedia:
"A tractor is a vehicle specifically designed to provide a high tractive effort at slow speeds, for the purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery used in agriculture or construction. Most commonly, the term is used to describe the distinctive farm vehicle: agricultural implements may be towed behind or mounted on the tractor, and the tractor may also provide a source of power if the implement is mechanised. Another common use of the term is for the power unit of a semi-trailer truck.
The word tractor is derived from the Latin trahere "to pull".["
Thus my bulldozer is not strictly speaking a tractor (puller), but a "pusher," -- unless, of course you were to hook something up to the back of it and have the bulldozer pull it, in which the bulldozer technically becomes a tractor, according to the wiki definition, at any rate.
Now, how much lattidude there should be to what qualifies as a tractor (or something tractor-related) has got to be up to our host, which is generally how we do this with other categories.
Enjoy everyone.
