* * * CTF Challenge 185 - Found Triangles * * *

Wedding photography is something I think you really have to think about. I mean, I can't wait for my first wedding booking... but i can guarantee I wouldn't ask big bucks for that assignment. So much to be considered, so much to plan in advance... those who make big bucks can program their camera on a dime. I can't do that now, but I'm getting better. Not to mention the coaching, the knowing of when the emotional moment is there for capture. I think it's serious business!!!! But wouldn't it be a blast to go in with the confidence and earn a living with it? Goals.....

Everything I wrote was meant as a joke. You want proof, ok...

Where is aam1234?

He is busy making life tough for everybody at CTF :)

A classic.

Isn't the lead guitarist there a member of Queen?

If I'm not mistaken, he lost his battle with cancer just few days ago.

Trying to break their rhombus in half? Scalene the neighbors fence? Busy with a love triangle?

I'll stop now.

I'm reading more than posting these days and hopefully will get to play with my camera on Sunday.

Hello Penny,
I can't seem to see triangles thru the viewfinder.
I guess I can look but I'm not seeing it.
Not everyone, but you know... there's an awful lot of chatter but

try this -

put any two lines together and make a V. then put the V on the edge of the frame to make it a triangle. (just a thought).
Either that or find a plant with some triangular shaped leaves.

I think by "found" tv means something that which might not otherwise be noticed as a triangle instead of just taking a picture of a plain ole triangle. So I think putting two lines together to make the point of a triangle could work (he did say we could use the edge of the frame). Or find a diamond or a square and crop it (he said crops are allowed). Maybe I'm wrong though.

I think I am getting a little confused here. For two days I've had triangles on the brain and can't view the world without looking for anything that looks like a triangle. Apparently maybe I set the bar higher for myself than I needed to in looking for a qualifying shot?

It now seems that we can shoot most anything as long as somewhere in the image a straight line is combined with two sides of the frame to form a triangle? If that is really true it seems too easy and I sure passed up a lot of nice images the last couple of days looking for real triangles in the flesh not formed by two sides of the frame.

I'm all for making it easy if that is what people want. I guess I need some clarifications as to whether I understand the requirements correctly?

without manipulation of the objects by setting them up or creating them graphically in pp.

So an object does not have to be a triangle but the lines seen in the viewfinder must form a triangle, even standing on your head.
