On all my former cameras, I was able to assign the non relevant dial to exposure compensation. Ok, I know, there is an actual exposure compensation dial on the camera, and I'm supposed to be using that. So if I have Aperture priority selected, and set the front dial to it, I'd like the rear dial to adjust compensation. It just falls on the finger easily, and the dial is actually smoother. The compensation dial is quite stiff. Right now both dials adjust aperture.
Same thing with Shutter priority, if I have the rear dial set to it, I'd like to set the front dial to compensation, and right now both dials adjust shutter speed.
As a workaround I just set the back dial to compensation, regardless of the exposure mode. But is there a way to do it? I know there is the My Dial functionality, but I don't want to waste a custom key to just toggle this. I'd like it to be permanent.
