>>> Challenge 94 Information Thread <<<

Just to let everyone know that the hitcount is playing up.

The computer that I leave running seems to be having internet access problems and I haven't had a chance to determine if it's the box or some other network hardware issue (everything runs fine from my notebook).

So until further notice, the hitcount will probably only but updated daily (if i remember).

At present, I am snowed under with house renovations and study for exams, so I may not be able to look at it (in detail) for about 2 weeks.

Cheers,

David

Thank you for the information David. Don't be upset about it, I guess we can all live with this handicap for a while.

Wishing you all the best for your house renovavion and good luck for your exams.

It should be a great Challenge considering the interest already. Have fun, especially with that vote counting thingy. ;-)

Very nice photo Colin. I have just one little remark.

Unless there is a reason for it, I would remove the colors from the no entry sign because it distructs the view from the couple which are the main subject.

There is a reason for it. :) Don't you think that signs are also a means of communication? Perhaps that sign is communicating something, and relates to the people in the photo in some way? Leaving it in color was a conscious choice.

I considered several different color schemes, each communicating a different message, and this was the one that I settled on.

Thanks for looking! Great challenge.

and, i'm in.

A few too many people in the picture for my taste. if I had better Photoshop skills I might remove 4 people from the photo. But I've already talked to two people who think that it's better with all the people left in.

Thought I'd go a little funky this time ;-)
