>>> Challenge 59 - Information <<<

...for your gorgeous pictures in challenge 58.

And a bump to the challenge thread :).

Hi there, I'm just popping over from CTF to let you know what's been happening with our mini-challenge, as the outcome could affect your challenge thread.

Our mini challenge was being regularly bumped by it's host, to keep it at the top of the list (as happens with challenge threads). A forum member took umbrage to the bumping as it's technically against the rules, and reported our challenge. The challenge thread was removed, the host was banned from posting, and we were all left in the dark as to what was going on.

A reply to an email I sent to the webmaster pointed out the thread was removed as bumping was against forum rules. There was no warning given, and the thread was not reinstated so we had to begin our challenge over again.

The host was eventually given back his posting rights, but not without a barrage of emails from CTF members.

So now we are doing weather reports, general chat, comments on photos......anything but use the word BUMP! LOL!

Good luck with your challenge, in my opinion the STF challenge sets the standard!

Thank you! This is another reason I wish there were moderator privileges and the ability to make posts sticky on this forum!

And please, come back any time.

...after a few days of way sub-zero temps (woke up to -30F a couple mornings this week), it warmed up to 20 F yesterday afternoon, practically balmy! I do like above zero temperatures, I do I do I do! ;)

For the "Southland," that would be NC reporting.
