C 5060 mode dial replacement

Yes Luton will sell it to me but it'll cost me around $50 USD each. Still trying to annoy Olympus enough that they'll sell it to me. So far I haven't found a US dealer that'll sell me parts.

For what it is, $50 is pretty steep. For what it does, it's pretty reasonable.

In view of it's age and rather short production life, there is not likely to be too many of these parts around.

There must be somewhere in the states, ask Olympus if the are any Olympus repair shops in your area,or find a shop the are Olympus dealers and ask them who does there repairs.its still worth $50 to bring that great camera back to life.

Aaarrgghh!

Guess whats just happened to my 5060??

Only problem is that i'm in Borneo, complete with u/w housing, strobes etc and no means of repairing - any ideas??

Will try and get some electrolube and hope that works for a few weeks...

I thought what you need is up the top of this thread. You can get a spare parts manual from Oly. Failing that PM me and I can send you one. It's not hard to do.
