A question for anyone who has used R cameras with Godox radio triggers - specifically the R10 and Godox XPro C for studio use:-
I’m assuming that the R10 generally works ok with the XPro C in manual power mode, as it has the standard hotshoe contacts, but does the camera turn off exposure simulation when using the trigger, or do you have to do this manually?
When using the R5 with XPro C active in the hotshoe, exposure simulation is disabled whenever the meter is active, so you can see to compose and focus without needing to go into the menus to disable exposure simulation.
I’m asking because if purchased, the cameras will commonly be used in dark studios by students with limited camera knowledge.
I know there are issues using R cameras and TTL + HSS, but my main concern is for studio use with non-TTL godox lights.
Thanks in advance.
