Roast chickens?
Another gorgeous mystery concept car...

Think that's a Toyota FT-1, could be a Lexus concept based on the FT-1.

Glorious. Love the Lancia Fulvia photo especially. The cropped open wheel one looks like an MG TC methinks.
Lagonda Rapide. I had a good chat with the owner, & this one is pretty rare in Aus. They have a bit of history at the LeMans 24 hr. Forgotten exactly what year and the exact history of this one, he was just out shopping in it :)

Not the greatest capture but love the colour.

Red Tail Hawk.

The best sunrise of 2019:

Mountain huckleberry reds. This was well after sunset - the colors were enhanced by a very vivid orange sky. I thought, that is cool; but really only took this image thinking there was no way I could handhold it standing up.

Ah, the lovely original Testarossa, the most iconic of the 512s IMHO , and a funny story to go with it :)

The showroom had a later model, 512TR. The view partially obscured by a silver 360 Challenge Stradale.
Yes, that's another good looking one! I think most of the great Italian designers -no matter if working for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa, Maserati or de Tomaso- had a rather emotional approach to their job when it came to creating such a 'bella macchina'.
A stark contrast to the dreary, brown, boxy humdrum Passats, Cavaliers, Unos etc common on the roads in the late 80s. The 512TR I think lost some of the potency of the original Testarossa with the new, more rounded exterior, though it did get more horsepowers.
Just good I'm old enough to still enjoy looking at such a car but no longer want to own one! Makes life a lot easier! (Mainly because it is a lot easier to get out of something like my Renault Scenic than out of any great looking Ferrari!) :-D
Well, I can't judge. I currently have a Honda Jazz. I swear though, once my no-claims insurance bonus adds up I'll be getting something far more unreliable and difficult to get into!
Had no idea Wankel rotary chainsaws were a thing. Interesting. Did you hear it run? Looks sort of orange though :P
The Dolmar KMS4 from the mid-seventies (KMS = Kettenmotorsäge, chainsaw). There is an old used one on ebay, the seller is asking for € 1.550 https://www.ebay.de/itm/Sachs-Dolma...447120?hash=item1cfd0b1890:g:zOgAAOSw5wRf6eyV

The colour, yes, not as red as a Jonsered, but on the other hand not as orange as something Stihl.

The sound: Difficult to describe, maybe slightly different compared to an ordinary 2-stroke engine, but on the other hand closer to that 2-stroke sound than I expected it to be. Less rpm than a modern one.

Two youtube clips:

Thanks very much for sharing those. I'm only familiar with rotary engines in some racy Mazdas. So was expecting the chainsaw to scream like a banshee!

Yep, look behind the removable serving grill 'tween the high-up exhausts - look ready to eat now, and sure smelled good on that cool, misty Pebble Beach August day in '13. An active imagination helps!

If you don't mind a phone pic, here's an actual (not repro) 250 GTO parked in the wild (okay, Carmel, CA) last fall. Wasn't sure of the ID until later, when I also learned it is one of 36 total built between 1962 and 64. I should have genuflected.

You can be too; ask about our 12-step program.

Don't know the intent, but that would have been an excellent advertising shot for high priced bedding.

Few more.

Edit -last two are not at 14mm, they're 14mm plus the Panny WA converter lens on the front
