returned my fz1000....

yes its the CA / fringing that I`m complaining about . I made the mistake of using an image with EX and izoom to display the image easier and got jumped on for been unrealistic even though it even shows on 20mp images without izoom .

None of my past fz1000 `s had this issue so I came to the conclusion myself I had a lemon .

I exchanged it for the fz330 to get the extra reach without having to use EX and izoom .

I just didn't make things very clear , I`m just not good at things across .

then one has to wonder why you did not post one of those instead

And in the process you chose a camera with a smaller sensor, which is going to give you lower IQ ... hmmm😳🤔😳🤔

because that was an image I had to hand.

because it didn’t have lower IQ than the fz1000 , at least how I was using it . I can get 1020mm equivalent reach without cropping. ( using the lt-55 )

All this strikes ma as a load of old tosh because there is tons of CA all over this blurry image that the poster seems very happy with ,am I missing something ??

All your missing is that I got a really bad copy of the fz1000 it happens .
my last two where brilliant.
This image is a masterpiece compared to what my faulty fz1000 was delivering.

I don’t expect top notch images from a bridge camera but that fz1000 was just not right.

if the poster likes the shot and its the best he can do thats fine with me

others have higher standards

Very hard not to like the FZ300/330, small sensor and all. Simply a brilliant little bridge camera. Enjoy it!

Also very easy to dismiss as inadequate for anyone who prints his/ her work ;-)

If the boor cannot swim, it's the fault of the bathing trunks.

The FZ200 just does not cut it

If anyone wanting pro quality large poster size prints; the inadequacy is with the person who buys a 1/2.3" sensor camera to do so.

I've printed FZ200 images up to 11x14" on my Canon PRO 100 that have more than enough IQ for good prints viewed from normal viewing distance.

From Imaging Resource FZ300 Review:
"... ISO 100 prints are good at 16 x 20 inches, with crisp detail and good color reproduction. This is about the largest sized print for a 12-megapixel camera before individual pixels begin to show, but the printed 20 x 30's are also fine for wall display purposes. ..."

Real easy for anyone to blame tools misused for poor results. :-|

Is that tongue in cheek about the FZ200? Fact is that it's IQ is right up there with the SX50 or any small sensor camera. I was always happy with mine.
