90D Images Not Showing Up On Within the Canon Connect IOS App

Just purchased the 90D last week, upgrading from the T6. I used the Canon Connect app all the time with the T6 to view and download images from the camera to my phone. The issue I'm now having is that I can't see, let alone download, the images now that I'm connecting to the 90. However, I can see all the images that I previously took from the T6, just not the 90's pictures. The images are being stored to the camera card as I can see them from within the camera itself and when I put the card into my computer. All other functions of the Connect App seem to be working. Thoughts?
 
As an aside, it may be a good idea to format the SD card in the 90D rather than using a card that was formatted in your older camera and still contains it's photos.

Turns out the date within the camera had not been set yet, so it was dating the photos from 2015. Not sure how it came up with that date?!? So, with all the pictures being dated 2015, they were being placed at the very beginning of a very lengthy list of photos and not at the end where I was expecting them to be.
