D810...What lens would you recommend for landscape and astrophotography?

Hmm.. I only have the nikkor 24-12mm f 4 lens..hehehe

I would go for Sigma Art 20/1.4. Very wide, very fast, and very sharp (review ). There's some coma near the corners, but it's not as bad as it could be, so can be forgiven. I don't think there's a better lens of this kind. This should be perfect for wide angle nightscapes.
This would be my choice if I had an FF DSLR.

take your pick from this list:
the lower the number the more you will get in your shot, also the more distortion you will get at the edges
if your shooting stars you probably want something 14mm

Unfortunately all my lenses does not fit for astrophotography... Many moons ago I purchased Sigma 20 f/1.8 only for that purpose.. what a deception: this lens has a lot of of lateral astigmatism and comma... reasonable only from f/4-5.6... useless for that application.Hi guys

I have read a lot of praise for Rokinon 24 f/1.4 and from Nikon lineage Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 (but behind from the humble Rokinon).
I am considering Rokinon lens for aquisition some time in the future...
