Also, regarding the K3ii rumor it seems totaly true. It will be announced before the end of this month and will be available 2 weeks after the announcement.

Wonder how the K3ii will sell. I have a feeling many could wait and see what the FF brings to the table, at what price.

But many repeatedly said they will not look at a FF even if RicohPentax makes one, maybe their number is sufficient.

FF1, not K-FF1 ? Does the FF have the new lens included in kit for the $1900 price ?

what source? we know K3II is announced next tues.,no specs but more than an update from a good source--will be able to use the new zooms at their fullest potential. we know 15-30,28-70 for FF,but no mention of 28-105??would be nice though

Which include H. 264 encoder to achieve ultra-high definition 4K @ 30P. We will see which camera will have the feature first: K-3II or K-F1.

I wonder if this is a refresh of the older FA 28-105 or if it's a totally new design? The FA was well regarded back when I bought my *ist-DS, although the 24-90 was considered slightly better. I probably would have ended up with one if not for finding a Tamron 24-135.
 
All I can say at the moment is that my source is someone working for Pentax.

He seemed that he did not know anything about the new features of K3ii, or was strongly adviced to pretent so but was very confident about the 28-105mm lens

Regarding the FF1 (full frame 1 he said) if there is no change of the pricing, it seems that high end crop cameras will be pressured a lot from this camera at 1999 euros. I can not afford it at the moment, but it seems a great and fair launch price for a full featured FF camera.

Let's see what improvements will be first tried on K3ii.

from a trusted source also/ a big dealer at uae for pentax equipments/ : the new k3ii will be equiped with all the features that ks2 has.. plus a /NEW IS TECHNOLOGY/. I assume he refers to sensor shift!!
