Hi

As usual, at the end of the year, I try to put together a slideshow, a kind of portfolio, of my photos of the year. so, below is the link to the end result, containing photos from K5, K5 IIs, 645D as well as Nikon D3s and D4 from trips and quite a few events I attended last year. Hope you like it.

Great photography, thanx for sharing..

Very enjoyable. What software did you use to put the slideshow together?

Well, yes, when attending an event as accredited or official photographer, it is work or even hard work, but I always also really enjoyed doing it.

Merci. I realized the number of events I attended when trying to make the selection. It was a pretty busy year from photography point of view.
Wish a good 2013 photography year.
Thank you. I wish you also a good 2013 photography year.

Thank you for watching. I made this slideshow as it can be a great help when having to prove what I am doing when asking for an accreditation request for all kind of events.

Good to see as always, Dominique. Apart from the images themselves I think this is the best slide show you've shown.
Thank you Gerry. I also believe that it is my best slideshow so far. I am using slideshows like these when trying to get accredited to all kind of events and they truly are a door opener. I find it a difficult but interesting task to select the right photos of the year.

Outstanding work, Dominique. I hope 2013 will be as rewarding an 2012 for you. Thanks for Sharing!

Enjoyed the slideshow Domonic ,for me after a good year shooting events i got a feel for the photography industry, and have decieded to stick with my day job as a carpenter, its less stressfull and i make alot more money for the same time spent on a shoot, I will only do a couple this year, that have been already booked. good luck with 2013, glad your enjoying it, look forward to your photos again this year.

I know what you are talking about. After a few days as accredited photographer at an event, I am happy to return to the office. Covering an event is a stressful and very demanding job.

But then, my full time job is software engineering and here in Switzerland, it is a job that more and more companies believe can be done in countries with lower wages. I will most probably not be able to stay in this job for my whole working career.

Sooner or later, I might be happy to have at least the possibility to quit my day job as software engineer and have enough experience to became a full time photographer. It will for sure be a tought time, but it will most probably be my best option.
