Attractive shot, Vahab... I agree with Geoff, you would gain on composition by reducing the area of the first tenth... are this tents by a chance called "yurta"?... thanks for posting :D..

Best regards,

It is a yurta and IMO it would have been a bit better to have more of the tent on left in. The skin covering is very attractive. Just my opinion, though. Good pic. Your other set this morning was superb.

Vahab thank you for sharing images from your part of the world.

I loved the picture of the man with yellow grass in front and lake mountains in back part of image in your other thread posted.

We don't see much of this eastern part of our wonderful planet.

I like this image. As said before i would have taken it from a bit more distance with a more level combined to the hill and horizon.

Do they wax the tent/yurt fabric? They look different as the ones seen in mongolia.

Greets

Geoff,

I slept one rainy night inside this tent. It is fully covered by sheep skin over bent wooden rods conjoined at the center.

Hi Bruno,

Thanks for your comments.
In Persian it is called "Kheymeh" or "Chador". The former is more literary.

Thank you Marteen for taking the time to see my photos.

I touched the sheep skin and they didn't feel greasy. It is however likely as it is wet and it rains a lot in this region.

I will post more photos of this part of the planet.

Best,
Vahab

Geoff,

Thanks for your comment. I agree with you, a step further on right would create a better composition. I keep learning. :)
