There are many excellent posts and posters on the DPR forums. I've learned much from the various forums. I have found Olga Johnson's posts to be uniformly friendly, concise, to the point, practical, interesting and often providing a slightly different view or perspective.

Thanks Olga

Agreed . Helpful and pleasant and easy to follow. Muahhhhhhh x :p

I humbly thank you all for your kind words. Humphrey, thank you for the flowers! I am not alone in this forum providing help. There are folks with a lot more knowledge and capabilities around that do their best too.

As to "smart", Ed, I don't know about that. :D I question myself any time I see my name pop towards the top of what I call the "get a life" list; the list of top posters and remind myself that I should be doing something else.

Humphrey, this is a nice gesture of which Olga is deserving. I can just smell these beautiful flowers. Many have benefitted from her contributions here, including me. Thanks Olga!

Several other regular contributors on the this forum also deserve kudos for their help. I think we know who they are. This is a very helpful place to get encouragement, to learn, and grow in our photography skills.

To them I'd like to send a photo of a case of beer, or something. (But it would be harder to taste the beer than to smell these flowers.) ;)

A well deserved post... Indeed there are many that are knowledgeable, kind and helpful around here, thank you Olga and all the others!

So I guess I'll fifth (?) that.
:)

Congrats to Olga, well deserved.

It is also nice to see, that people don't hesitate to say thanks. Pity, that bottle picture makes no sense. (For case someone doesn't drink flowers) :-)

A good idea, well executed and well deserved by Olga.

I think this thread exemplifies the good natured membership of this forum, which, with rare exception, is always constructive, helpful and informative. Not to mention some truly beautiful, inventive, inspiring and entertaining images. :D

I love Olga's post as well. He is a genuine well manner good fella who is always ready to help. Olga always give you the good information with example photo. More importantly, Olga give you helpful information without the nerdy technical attitude that has sadly become rather prevent here in DPR. Thumbs Up for Olga
