Morris,

Sorry to hear that you had to witness this. I know that it had to be hard on everyone in the place. Especially the husband of the poor woman who was killed.

Jon

Well, you just never know, do you, Morris? One minute a woman is eating a sandwich with her husband, and the next she is dead and he is in shock, seeing his beloved killed before his eyes.

Yet another reminder to tell the people that you are blessed to have sharing your life how important they are to you.

You share our lives here in the Nikon forum, Morris. It wouldn't be the same without you. Glad you were not injured.

I am glad you are OK Morris. This event clearly shook you up. Relax and spend much more time with your family.

Scary. It's one of those things in life that makes you stop and take stock.

I'm glad you're ok, and keep posting your pictures, making our lives a little bit nicer.

Someday maybe I'll think of something useful to put in here...

After 26 years as a state trooper and seeing numerous tragic accidents such as this.....I am also grateful for your safety. I always click on your posts as you have offered positive advice to me on the few occasions I have posted.

This again reminds me, as it should all, that.....

It can happen to you.

and, each day I went to work, and then returned home safely, it didn't take long for events such as this to drive home the realization,.........

I have my health, family and friends. Compared to accidents such as this and everything else going on in the world today.......I have no problems.

Such a relief to hear you're O.K.

Glad, & relieved, to know you suffered no physical injuries, Morris.

Praying the TLC from family & friends will go a long way to heal the mental scars.

Take care & God Bless

Some people dream of success..... While others wake up early and work hard at it.....

I greatly appreciate the kind thoughts for me and Mrs. Leong. I can ashore all of you that are concerned about my mental state that I’m doing just fine and in fact relaxed. I talked everything out with friends and family the day it happened and slept fine that night. I’ve had numerous other close calls and have lost track of how many of my 9 lives I have used.

Regards,

Morris

I just saw this, having been away for some time. That sounds like an unpleasantly close call and very frightening. Morris, I'm so glad you weren't injured. Bad stuff does make us value the good stuff, I agree.
