Just got back from an Friends of Arizona Highways Photography Workshop...took about 3500 pics and finally narrowed it down to about 180 pics...and about 120 in this slideshow. Hope you enjoy.

The colors and compositions are wonderful. I loved the people photos--what proud looking native Americans. I hope some of these make it to the wonderful magazine. I used to enjoy seeing it at the school library when I was still teaching.

Canon FiveDee, Canon 2oD, Canon Gee3, and Canon S7o, Fuji Eff30.

:-)

Very much a change. We stayed on the Reservation which was an experience in itself...

I really enjoyed this alot, especially the people shots. I am now looking (without much luck) another photography workshop for Native Americans with more emphasis on people than on landscapes.

Thanks Juli!!! :-)

I downloaded to Photodex presenter so I could see your pictures and installed it but no pictures display : (

Let me know if there is something else needed to view these pictures I'd love to see them.

Hmm.....I don't know. What browser are you using? Try reinstalling it again.

That is about all I can help with...It works on every computer I have tried it on so far.

WAlly, it wouldn't play on IE for me either---and I use PHotodex. I turned off my popup thinking that might be it. I'm watching it on Firefox now.

I get just a tool bar that loads VERY slowly and nothing else but a black screen.

Same here, I even downloaded the latest version of Photodex and rebooted. My web browser is I.E. 6.0.
Bummer I was looking forward to seeing these pictures!

Glad because I sent the link to my husband who doesn't have FF. We were goiing to exactly that area (Chinle, etc.) in September but decided on northern coastal Maine instead and will head back out there next Spring. We spent 3 weeks the last time but didn't get into Arizona except at 4 corners. For me, though, since it won't be a photography based trip---I won't have the experience you did. I may have to go back alone one time LOL. We spent a lot of time at pueblos but didn't get onto the Navajo and Hopi reservations. I did spend some time with a Navajo woman who had rarely been off the reservation before--she had come to Taos to purchase a Navajo-Churro ram--women in family are all weavers and I could talk both sheep breeding and weaving/dyeing/spinning altho' she actually spoke poor English (and I , of course, spoke no Navajo), so her daughters and grandson translated. That was a neat experience--and made me enjoy your photos even more. They are excellent.

I had to try a couple of times but it eventually worked just a bit slow to get the feed from the server but that was certainly worth the wait truly inspiring. Thank You Wally

Cheers

It doesn't work here, using Firefox and the required plugin.

Have you thought about using normal HTML? The problem with software like this is that you need special downloads and if the server is being slow or something, then the viewer cannot even see one photo.

I'll keep trying since it sounds like an interesting set...
