Andreas, I don't think it's got anything to do with the brandname on the camera...the STF Challenges seem to have attracted a very creative bunch who inspire each other. I believe their challenges have been going for quite a while now, and the main group are incredibly talented. I have entered their exhibition category a couple of time, and I was so rapt once when I came 9th! With all the fabulous pics there, I felt that was rather an achievement.
The Sony forum seems to have a somewhat different "mindset" to the Canon forums on the whole. Aside from the "Great Debate of the 828" they are very much about "photography" and the pictures produced, rather than the camera and which one has the best features. Anyway, that's how I see it when I browse the Sony forum.
I have absolutely no ideas for this challenge, but then we only just got home from out trip and I've been more focused on sorting and editing the photos I took on the weekend.

At the rate my brain is working right now, I'll be lucky to get one
pic in each gallery ;-)
But three is fine by me.
Andreas, congrats on winning the last 2 challenges, very well
deserved! And no, I am not planning on shooting in black and white
from now on.....my world is full colour and that's how I like my
photos. But B&W does look pretty awesome for some shots. Probably
means I'll never win another challenge....but oh well, I can live
with that.
We are still in the Macedon Ranges and ohmigod, it's cold here! But
we're having a great time with our friends and I have taken a LOT
of photos.
Off to check the galleries for inspiration, and I think I;ll check
out the STF ones too. They are always a source of inspiration for
me. If anyone has time to spare (like a few hours) the STF
galleries are surely worth a thorough browse. In my (not so humble)
opinion, they have the very best photographers on dpreview enter
their challenges.
