We had one in Central Park 2 or 3 years back that was a media star.

Cheers Charles, we have them in local parks in Liverpool but this was taken in a wetland reserve called Martin Mere. Considering I live in a city we have good wildlife around and about, my local church has perigrin falcons nesting and we have lots of bird species in the gardens and parks

That's fabulous. We have great birding in Central Park, too. Migration seasons can be glorious.

Nice set, I like them all but especially the bike photo. The road wet from rain and the spray droplets being lifted from the rear tire. What a beautiful (and challenging) place for a ride.

Living in the high desert of California, I've not had too many opportunities to shoot in this kind of weather. However about 10 years ago we had snow and unusually cold weather and I can still remember the cold feel of the camera body. Nice shots.

I had a great time at the 2022 Rose Parade New Year's Day and even managed to get a couple of snaps of the B2 before it flew out of my view.

This was just a community version of The Nutcracker put on during the holidays. It was mostly young children but they did great!

Needed completely silent shooting along with eye tracking through lots of people passing in front of each other.

Heard some birds making a raucous in my backyard alley. Took my camera out there and saw a hawk sitting on the power pole. Tried to capture a sequence of shots as I knew it was going to take off. Missed the initial 2 shots as part of the bird was off the frame.

Cheers - much appreciated!

The rain (and headwinds on the main climb-out) certainly added to the challenge - but we were elated when we made it to the top. My abiding memory of the Pass was when I was tackling the first of the two ‘crux sections’. I was just about hanging in there and looked up to see Karen high above me, climbing hard from right to left - as if on a sky bound elevator - disappearing into the grey mountain clag. I could only gasp, ‘Ohhh - ****!’. Great fun… :-D

Kitten and mom pushed out to hunt by bitter winter weather the last few days.

Jpeg from camera taken thru the living room window and lots of cropping. At least I could tell they were really bobcats as there is always questions of if it was just a house cat. Momentary event and was lucking the 70-200 was on the R.
