** Weekly X Series Photo Thread 19 JAN - 25 JAN**

Good moment, but I think both of them could be in focus. BTW, is that lens the one for Nikon mount?

Shoulda, woulda, coulda, sure. I like this photo a lot, and I'm pretty sure I'd not like it better if it was perfect - I think I like it BECAUSE it's not precise. It clearly depicts the sisters in a quiet unguarded moment. Life is like that.

Morris, you are producing some fantastic photos. I like the harmony in the last one. Wow!

I`m pretty sure I replied to the OP, not you.

As I said, it was a good moment. My preference would have been for both sisters to be in focus - perhaps stopping the lens 1 or 2 stops would have sufficed.

We all have different opinions, life is like that.

Seriously?

I'm not saying you're wrong, or that I'm right. I just felt strongly a different perspective be offered. It might have come across as more than I meant it to be, granted.

Ok.

Amen. Life...is messy.

You do realize this is an open forum, right? Anyone is free to offer an opinion. You're welcome to disagree, but not to challenge whether an opinion should be offered regardless what your original intent might have been.

Great shots, Morris, but something about that last one...

Excellent.

Yes. That is why I offered my opinion about the photo to the OP.

I did not challenge Bob. I merely pointed out that my opinion was to the OP - hence, I would value much more the OP's viewpoint than Bob's.

Neither me or Bob were there when the OP took the photo and made his decisions about the parameters.

Great shots Morris

Are these taken using the Sigma 15-600mm lens?

Thank you,

I feel I'm back to where I was before I was injured a bit over a year ago.

Thank you Jerry,

It's a classic composition using the power of 3 and diagonal.

Morris
True enough. For me, anyway, it’s the wing alignment coupled with the composition that really set it apart.

Nothing much, just felt like taking a quick shot of some strawberries before they were consumed :)

I’m still learning so practicing some lighting and composition with my new X-T3 is fun.
