A friend has a great collection of old eletrical devices and I shot a few frames today. I have to go back and take some serious shots.

And his wife was cooking.....

I like these pics .
Must be an interesting guy, this friend of yours : )

Bye,

Now I understand why people said that their garage looks different than mine.

If you want to surprise your friend, shoot some close-ups and prepare a powerpoint presentation. If you wish I can show you a sample (it's in Hebrew).

Take care,
Yehuda

Is your friend a ham radio operator by chance? Some of those gizmos remind me of things my dad and granddad used to have in their basements! I'll bet your friend is a cool guy! Love the pics....you made his stuff look very interesting!

Thanks for looking!

Actually, his collection is mostly very old and should be in a proper museum. His forefathers were instrumental in producing the first elctricity in this area.

so nice to hear from you; thanks very much!

Yes, he is quite a guy. He has spent the later part of his life with this collection and many of the items are real collectors items. He has a small (maybe large) fortune in it!

Thanks very much! I must say your garage is a lot more appealing!

Yes, I would like to see what you have in mind. Do you have a URL?

thank you so much! No, he is not a ham but I am (WB9RWH and DJ6PL). He is a real expert on electricity and his family was in on the developing of elctrical power and distribution in this area many years ago. This small village had electricity before many of the much larger towns aorund here.

It's a part of a collection of antique objects of a friend of my.

The pages are numbered, so in case you have a questions, just mention the page number.

Take care, Haver,

thank you! Very well done! I might give that a try as I'm sure he would enjoy it.

His house is really a museum as he and his wife have many different things besides the electrical items.

thank you so much!

I used the F32X with the mini-softbox. I should have taken the flash off camera (I have cables for that) and used a couple of small slaves with it. The ceilings were not good for bouncing. There were often flash reflections in the glass faces of the meters.

thank you so very much!

It is really quite a collection and I never realized how large it is until today. Have to go back and do it justice.
