Z8 just in....

Well I'm officially smitten.

We had a family party yesterday and I felt like a photo ninja with the z8 and 50. Fuji gave great images but the Z does as well and the agility is worlds apart. Detail given by the 50 is astounding.

Landscape stuff I've tried has been a clear level up from the Fuji as well.

It's still a good bit to manage at times but that should improve as I get more familiar with it.

Both lenses I started with are home runs. Back button focus (too difficult for my somewhat arthritic hands on the Fuji) is a game changer. Subject id with handoff to 3d if recomposing is a game changer. 45mp is occasionally a game changer. Color me impressed.

That's great to hear! I'm glad it's finally growing on you. When I get new stuff, I'm usually skeptical and hard-headed about "what I'm used to" and what I have to learn from scratch. There's a certain amount of discomfort about having to re-learn how to use equipment, or software, etc. Growing pains!

I hope it continues to make your life easier. :-D
